The project is conceptualised in two phases:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Phase 1 which deals with data collection was obstructed by COVID-19 lockdown and consequent closure of participating institutions, making physical contact with teachers and students impossible for close to one year. Some of the activities have inevitably spilled into 2021. Nevertheless, considerable progress has been made. We estimate that 90% of Phase I has now been completed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Phase II which depends on input from Phase I (data collection and analysis) has commenced making use of preliminary data analysis and in this phase too, considerable progress is being made in terms of the development of curriculum, toolkits, and affordances. The final stage of phase II concerns the training of teachers and students in the Digital Literacy Curriculum (DLC) and Graduate Employability Curriculum (GEC). We envisage that phase II will be completed by the first quarter of 2022, achieving all envisaged and stated deliverables and meeting all our goals. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
